The Annual Plumbing Inspection Includes:

Bathrooms:

  • Inspect all sink faucets and for proper operation and leaks.
  • Sediment build-up in your shower heads.
  • Inspect under sinks and in cabinets for leaks.
  • Inspect toilets for leaks.
  • Inspect inside of toilet tanks for proper functioning parts.

Kitchen:

  • Inspect faucets for leaks and proper operation.
  • Inspect garbage disposal for leaks and operation.
  • Inspect under the sink and in cabinets for leaks.
  • Inspect dishwasher for signs of leaks and connections.

Basement/Utility/Laundry:

  • Inspect all visible water distribution piping for corrosion or leaks.
  • Inspect washing machine and dryer hoses for cracks, leaks and proper attachment.
  • Inspect emergency main water shut off valves.
  • Inspect all visible gas piping.
  • Inspect all visible drainage piping for sign of excessive wear and leaks.
  • Examine drain trap seals in floor drains.

Outside Home:

  • Inspect hose faucets for leaks and operation.
  • Inspect sump pump discharge pipes.
  • Inspect Gas meter connections and piping condition.
  • Inspect any exposed drainage piping and yard for signs of drainage problems.

Routine Plumbing Maintenance:

Plumbing Maintenance. Where applies:

  • Perform Water pressure test on the Main water supply for the home.
  • Inspect and adjust pressure reducing valves on the water supply.
  • Inspect and adjust proper pressure on expansion tanks.
  • Inspect water heater for proper operation.
  • Perform Carbon Monoxide test at the water heater.
  • Inspect sediment trap on water heater.
  • Inspect sump pumps and check valves for proper operation. Remove any debris in sump basin.
  • Inspect in home sewage ejector systems for proper operation.
  • Test exposed gas piping with Gas Leak Detector.
  • Inspect water meter in yard for leaks or flooded basin.
  • Test in house drains for proper drainage.
  • Inspect Water heater jets and flush sediment.

*In the event of cancelation after the inspection or after the discount has been received for work performed, the client will be charged the full amount of the service delivered and or the inspection/maintenance in addition to any discounts given.

If after the inspection has been performed and/or a discount has been given for service in accordance with the service agreement and refund or cancellation is requested, a pro-rated refund amount of charges will be calculated. Annual inspection fee of $75 and annual maintenance fee of $95 will be charged at time of cancellation unless not performed.
